If you follow me on Facebook you may have already seen some of these photos from Nate and Diana’s wedding, but since I said i’d probably post a lot more from their wonderful day, I thought i’d go ahead and just make one big post of my favs.
I met Nate and Diana about a year ago at our church Woodlands Point Community Church. They are in our small group and I was thrilled when they asked me to shoot their wedding. I knew it was going to be so much fun, not only because I know them personally but because they’re both such joyful people and they were just bubbling over with excitement about getting married to each other. The focus of their wedding wasn’t on all of the extras and details- although they had wonderful and sweet little details through out the wedding, but the focus was on the Lord, who brought them together and they wanted to give Him the glory for the day. These two are such an amazing couple and I was blessed to be a part of their day.
Nate and Diana, you are both such wonderful people and I am SO glad that the Lord crossed our paths and allowed me to meet y’all! Diana, I LOVE your laugh. It’s so contagious 🙂 and your JOY for life is too. You’re such an encourager and I’m so, so thankful for your friendship. Nate, your love for your wife is so evident and it’s beautiful to see how much you care for her! I’m so thankful that I was able to be a part of your wedding day and I’m even more thankful to be a part of your lives! Love y’all!

Ok Brides and Grooms to be. If you want to do something that will make your photographer jump for joy, give them an hour or so after your wedding while you’re still in your tux and dress to do a special “Just Married” session. Nate and Diana really wanted some special photos of just them in a more relaxed setting after their wedding reception. I LOVED this time we had to do some fun, relaxed, romantic photos of the two of them. And I totally recommend doing this if you have time and also if you decide not to do a First Look before your ceremony.
Oh HEY little duckies!
This one is HOT TAMALES! I love it.
One of Diana’s favorites
And they lived happily ever after… 🙂
diana - OH Courtney — words just can’t express how dear these pictures are and always will be to our hearts — THANK YOU. Your talent is absolutely God-given and I’m blown away how you captured the energy, joy and excitement of the day — we hope that God’s glory and the joy He’s brought Nate and I shines right through them. We love you and thank God for your friendship!!
