I love this family. Sarah is one of my sisters best friends and it’s been so fun to spend time with she and Colin and get to know them more over the past few years. I also went to school with both Sarah and Collin’s older siblings and I’ve gotten to photograph their family on a few different occasions including Colin’s sister’s wedding! I can’t believe I haven’t posted their session on the blog yet! I posted a few of my favorite photos on CMP’s facebook page and totally neglected the blog. Anyway, Kate is HERE and she is precious. Becca and Ian’s wedding was such a special way to celebrate Easter Sunday this year. I was so honored to be a part of their wedding day and loved spending the day with their families! Becca’s parents and my parents have been dear friends since before we were born. They are probably the sweetest family I know and I hope that when I have kids, they will grow up to be as loving and caring towards one another like the Addingtons are. Seriously, they are the sweetest! Becca and Ian were married in Kyle Texas at Texas Old Town and the day could not have been more beautiful! The weather was great and the venue was perfect. This sweet couple has spent much of their engagement apart because Becca is serving in the Army in Germany! She flew back a few days before the wedding and they left shortly after to head back overseas. What a fun adventure to start off their married life! It’s so special and I’m so thankful to call them friends! Ian and Becca, thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding day photos. I enjoyed every sweet minute! Hope you guys are enjoying life in Germany (Becca, thank you for your service for our country!!!) and I hope to see you both soon. LOVE to you all!

This past weekend, I met with Madison and her sweet parents for her 6 month photos. Isn’t she SO cute?! She played hard to get even when mom and dad were pulling out all the tricks but I still got some really cute grins, smirks and a smile or two! Monica and Steven {The Woodlands Engagement Photographer}

Steven and Monica are so sweet!!! I had so much fun with them a few Saturday’s ago on the Waterway in The Woodlands. Steven even brought his motorcycle which was really fun too. I’ve known Steven since I was REALLY little – our families went to church together and it’s been so fun to get to know Monica over the past few months. She’s so sweet! I recently found out that I have to change my diet a lot because of some food allergies and one thing i’m having a HARD time giving up is CHEESE! Monica is a dietitian and was telling me about Rice Cheese. I was really excited about trying it and she bought some for me at Whole Foods! SOOO sweet. Anyway, I’m excited about shooting their wedding in June but for now here’s their beautiful engagement photos! Enjoy!

Meet Estefania {Houston Newborn Photographer}

I’m trying to be better about blogging all of my sessions! I meet little Estefania on Super Bowl Sunday and took her newborn photos! You may remember her sweet parents from their session back in November. It was so great to hang out with this family that Sunday and I love the shots we got of them all together snuggling their sweet little girl! She’s over 2 months old now and we’ll be taking 6 month photos soon! Rori and Emiliano, your daughter is beautiful and I’m so excited to watch her grow! (PS. I LOVE this family. I grew up with Kellie and our families have been friends for a long time. It’s been SO much fun to photograph all of them over the past few years (Carter has been . They are my favorites! The bluebonnets came out early this year! All of the sudden I noticed that there were wildflowers all around and sure enough- the bluebonnets followed too. Timing with spring break worked out well and the whole Quintanilla family was together for the break so they scheduled some photos of the whole family which was really fun to shoot! Danny, Genie, Kellie, Carter, Brian, Skyler and sweet little Kinsley Grace, I love you guys and I hope you enjoy your photos- can’t wait til the next time I get to photograph you all.

Erin and Tom {College Station Engagement Photographer, Houston Engagement Photographer}

Well, y’all know that although I’m not an Aggie graduate, I am an Aggie at heart, right? So, I was really excited to hear from Erin and Tom when they asked me to come to College Station to shoot their engagement photos. We started off the session at the place where they got engaged a few weeks ago- The Century Tree and then continued the session at one of their favorite places Dixie Chicken and ended the day at Kyle Field. Their proposal story is so sweet and made me laugh- Tom had attempted to propose a few times over the past month but things came up and the moment was never right. So, a few weeks ago, they were on campus and Tom had planned to propose at the Century Tree. He was wondering how he would get her there with out ruining the surprise about the proposal, and it worked out well because Erin was the one who suggested that they take a walk around campus to the Century Tree! As they walked on the path under the tree, she was talking about how the tradition says that a couple who walks under the tree together will eventually marry, and she turned around and Tom was down on one knee!!! She was totally surprised and of course said yes! Erin and Tom, I had a great time with y’all and it was so nice to meet you! One year old Kolby- Mini Session {Houston Family Photographer}

Meet Kolby, one of the sweetest little guys I’ve ever met! He also wins the award for best dressed with his cute little hat, patchwork vest and tiny baby sperrys…. he is the cutest! I met him and his parents to take last Saturday morning and we had a lot of fun during their session. We all got a great work out that morning chasing Mr. Kolby around! That boy loves to move!!
